About Us 

We have made it our mission at Pals for Pets to provide caring and responsible pet owners an alternative to boarding their animals when they go away. For busy dog owners we have chosen to offer a more individual dog walking service that can supplement the exercise given to their dogs each week.

Owner Alison Shaw, a highly experienced Dog Walker from the Northern Beaches, has traded in her old leads for new ones in December 2010, to take over the Pals for Pets crew and will be based in Balmain, covering Sydney's Inner West. Alison has been surrounded by dogs since she was born and currently has 2 dogs, Dozer a 6 year old Staffy, and Bebop an 8 month old Aussie Bulldog. She rescued Dozer from a pound 2 years ago which turned out to be quite a challenge..."he has a beautiful nature and it was important that I spent a lot of time exercising and training him to help him adjust to his new life."

Positive training methods have proven to be the best and most effective way that Alison has found to teach and maintain any animals good behaviour. Alison has promised to keep all Pals and their owners happy by continuing on with the excellent service.

Catherine Woolnough is our part time representative in the Hills District area. Whilst living in a rented apartment, Catherine was unable to own pets of the furry kind. Disappointed by this she then began looking after other peoples’ cats and dogs in their homes and it became the perfect solution. Catherine now lives in Baulkham Hills and owns tropical freshwater and marine fish and can’t wait to get her own pet rabbits.
